Friends of PVS
Welcome to the Friends of Prestwood Village Schools, the charity created to support the schools and enrich the education of the children.
As a ‘Friends’ charity, and not a PTA, we welcome the wider community to support us in fundraising and events. This means that not only are parents and carers of the children at the school welcomed and appreciated, but also grandparents, extended family and the local community leaders.
We have three main aims:

To create closer links between parents/carers and teachers.

To run fun events throughout the year that will create happy memories for the children.

To raise funds to enable the school to invest in enriching experiences for the children they would not be able to provide otherwise and support the purchase of new equipment and resources to benefit our children’s learning.

Donations and Match Funding -
We are a charity and welcome donations directly into our funds - including match funding from your employers. Please speak to a member of the Friends team for more details; and maybe you can get additional funds donated by your employer to the fundraising activities you support with us!
Upcoming Events
Year 2 Bake Sale – Next Friday 20 March from 2.45.
Our next bake sale will be hosted by Year 2 at the Infants next Friday 20 March. Do pop along for some delicious treats at pick‑up time. Every cake bought helps us raise valuable funds for the school, and the children always love being part of it.
Next FoPVS Meeting – Monday 23 March
Our next monthly meeting will take place on Monday 23 March at the Chequers Tree Pub. We have lots of exciting things to plan and fundraise for...not least our Summer Fair on 7 June 2026 (save the date!).
All our events rely on the enthusiasm and generosity of our wonderful volunteers, so if you’d like to see even more happening, or can spare a little time to help, we’d love to have you join us.
